Crafty Dome: Grants a 6% chance to duplicate a crafted item. This effect caps at 25% per Pachycephalosaurus, regardless of its age, weight, mutation, or toys.
For a guaranteed duplication chance, a Pachycephalosaurus must have a base weight of 2.17 kg or higher. At level 100, such a pet weighs 21.70 kg and reaches a 12.51% duplication chance. With 8 pet slots, this yields a 100.08% chance of duplication.
If passive-boosting mutations are considered, Pachycephalosauruses with these base weights and mutations are required:
- Silver: ≥ 2.07 kg
- Gold: ≥ 1.97 kg
- Rainbow: ≥ 1.77 kg
It is the second pet to benefit gear crafting, following the Orangutan.

The Pachycephalosaurus is exclusive to the Primal Egg, making it a limited-time pet. As a Legendary pet, each Primal Egg you hatch gives a 28% chance of unlocking it.
How to Get a Primal Egg
There are two main ways to obtain a Primal Egg:
- Trade a pet with Graham at the DNA Station, then wait for the DNA Machine timer to potentially receive a Primal Egg as a reward.
- Craft a Primal Egg (unlocked after upgrading the DNA Machine three times). You will need:
- 1 Dinosaur Egg
- 1 Bone Blossom
- 5,500,000 Sheckles
